Walkthough: Missing Mask HQ made EASY!!!! (Eq2 gaming)
July 1st, 2009Once you have received the quest and you go to the basement to follow the footprints, this can be a lengthy quest.
After you complete the 2 above parts you will be on the billy section of this quest. This can take several hours of camping to spawn them in all the locations.
All you have to do is zone in until billy is up in the Chapel. If he is not up zone out and back in until he is, kill him and do it again for the game room billy. As long as you dont kill a sister you will not have a reset timer. Once you kill all the billy's zone in and out until the swine lord pops in the stable. Once you have the swine lord finish the quest the rest of the way through and you will not have to camp one mob for the entire quest.
Getting From Freeport To Qeynos (Eq2 classes)
June 28th, 2009If you are either part of Queynos or Freeport and need to conduct business in the other area this tutorial will show you the way. I wrote this tutorial because I needed to meet someone in Antonica and did not know the way I was also only level 13. It took me longer than necessary and I died a couple of times, all as a result of not knowing the way. Any level character can make this journey so long as they are careful however it is very dangerous. Knowing the way certainly helps also being level 20 is also a big help! Red on the maps shows the route you take by foot and Blue is the Griffon Flight.
Starting in the Commonlands Mariner Bell make your way to the Griffon Tower and take a griffon to Nektulos Station. Make your way North East till you arrive at the Nektulos gate and enter.
http://www.pandamix.com/commonlands.jpg
In Nektulos Forest its a good idea to stick to the path at all times if you cannot hack the enemies, follow the route drawn and you need to get to Nektulos Dock where you can travel to the Thundering Steppes.
http://www.pandamix.com/nektulos.jpg
The Thundering Steppes is the trickiest part, you need to work your way through the canyon and then back track up the path to the bridge gates, you can jump over these gates by running up the side of the hills where the gatewall meets the side and jumping over. Once you passed the bridge keep its pretty much plain sailing, the enemies are sparse and you can safely run to Antonica which is north on the map.

Your in Antonica Phew! Well done, should take about 10-15 minutes to do this journey. Just go to the Griffon Tower and you can catch a flight to South Queynos Gate. Good luck getting in with the guards!

Craftsmen Make 8-9 Gold In A Few Hours (Sell Everquest 2 Account)
June 26th, 2009Ok first off this uses another members post so I would like to give him credit “Craftsmen’s Turned Maple Lumber Income Tutorial” by Innes. With that being said I have changed this to suit my needs as a crafter and my needs to make money. I also only use pristine items so I assume that you will be doing the same. With that being said here is what you need:
a. You need to be a level 15 crafter with all current books (level 16 or 17 works best)
b. A little bit of money around one gold should do
c. You can make more if you go harvest your stuff but I hate harvesting so this is set up so you do not need to harvest anything
Ok a break down on the supplies needed to make these things and what other crafters you will need:
a. Raw maple x 20 (broker)
About 12c per so 2.4 silver
b. Stroma resin x 80 (scholar)
I get these in bulk so you I would not pay more than 30 silver for 4 stacks
c. Iron stud x 20 (outfitter)
10 silver should do here
d. Iron sheet x 20 (outfitter)
10 silver should do here
e. Sandpaper x 100 (wholesaler)
6 silver
TOTAL: 58.4 silver
Ok moving on here is the recipes you will use and what supplies they require:
a. Maple Lumber
Raw Maple
Stroma Resin
Sand Paper
b. Planned Maple
Maple Lumber
Stroma Resin
Sandpaper
c. Turned Maple Lumber
Maple Scraps
Stroma Resin
Sandpaper
d. Maple Strong Box
Planned Maple
Iron Stud
Iron Sheet
Sandpaper
Making Maple Lumber will net you 2 Maple scraps as well as the Maple Lumber. Making one Turned Maple Lumber nets you 3 NONSTACKABLE Items. Ok one other thing is making strong boxes at first will require almost a whole power bar per craft to get them to pristine so keep that in mind.
These are the rewards for your time:
a. Turned maple lumber
40 crafts x 3 per craft x 1 silver per item at wholesaler = 1.2 gold
b. Maple strong boxes
20 boxes x 40 silver per box to fellow players= 8 gold
Cost: 58.4 silver
Profit: 9.2 gold – 58.4 silver = 8.6160 gold
This is simple and takes about 2-3 hours of your time but it is well worth the effort because you are almost guaranteed your money. These boxes are in high demand by fellow player because they have 12 slots for their bank slots
Easy Money (EQ2 Map)

Race Wood Elf (Eq2 horse)
June 20th, 2009Legolas, tree huger, longhaired guys with pointy ears, all those names should make you think of a Wood Elf. Wood elves are what you would call the hippies of the elves. They love their woods and would gladly slay any orc or goblin that tried to defile their forest.
There will most likely be a ton of wood elf rangers named Legal0s or some 1337 variation. Wood elves often supply the high elves with their happy grass. They also tend to hate half elves and beat the hell out of them.
Wood elves are of good alignment.
They have a specialized vision called infravision that allows them to see living beings in the dark.

The Fire Pet Burning It Down 247 (Everquest 2 Gold)
June 18th, 2009just wanted to share with my fellow conjurers how I have been fighting & leveling from 50-58.
I have been doing nothing but repeatable quests since the expansion.
Tear grifters, aquim, & faction guys on the beach
(no more darzi ..friggin nerfed)
The key to cranking these out is speed. And for that job & just about anything else imo is the Fire Pet.
Getting things done fast will always bring added risk but i feel the pace at which you get things done is worth it. Also keep in mind I am using a master 1 magi pet with a master offensive stance but i don't think its making all that much a difference in the strat.
The key is the Fire pet is never really tanking, you are tanking.
For group mobs (I would not tackle ^ or above group mobs) I would lead with a flash flood type spell first, the sec you take damage from the mobs the pet will auto engage.
The second spell you throw is the shattered land type spell, you do not lead with this because it stuns so well that the mobs do no damage to you & the pet will not auto engage.
The Fire pets AOE will now do the rest. By the time the stifle wears off the mobs are mostly dead & you can help finish them off with a tremor or 2. (look around before you throw it:))
Fighting this way can get tricky sometimes, the fire pet draws aggro very quickly & wont last long with a group on him.
With the addition of frigged winds (a 75% slow that last 48 seconds) you can solo a ^^^ green. Giants a especially easily with the fire pet.
Throw frigged winds & giant master strike, at this point the giant is so mad at you he never notices the fire pet burning him down to the ground (and the pyro & fish pets)
So if the exp bar is just not moving fast enough these days, try this strat & see if it works for you.
But keep in mind that this is a living on the edge type strat, things will go bad fighting this way. So if your the type that likes to fight the safest way… This strat is a bad idea for you.
Raid Mob Wall Exploit (EQ2 Platinum)
June 16th, 2009with the new aoa * ascent of the awakening *changes for how raid mobs are encounter you can instantly choose to go raid talendor or how ever you spell his name… so theres a little alcove I wanna say to the north of him but Im not 100% sure * not in the zone right now * what the direction is.. but its a little half circled in room one floor below where he spawns and you can use a FD'r to supermanpull him or use a pet pull, putting the tank with his back to a bookcase and putting the belly of the mob in the wall.. now what this does that is great is it keep the little fire balls *also known as dumfire pets* that keep spawning from anyone in AE range inside the wall so you never have to fight em… u just dps the mob and make sure the tank never looses agro.. this is a confirmed xploit..
just so ya know this easily trivializes the mob so if someone gets him positioned correctly and they lose agro he will spawn like 100 of the fire orbs on his next ae and will whipe your raid + leave you about an hours worth of trash to kill so when you get it positioned right be careful not to gank agro from the tank.
Qeynos Civil Service Quest - Easy Silver in 30 minutes (Everquest 2 Betrayal Quest)
June 13th, 2009If you're from Qeynos, do the Civil Service quests from the fellow in front of the castle in North Qeynos.
You'll have to kill Snakes and Rats, they were white/blue to me when i was lvl 10 wood elf predator… They drop Iron Girdles/Leggings, and things for the lighthouse quest.
If you sell to a crafting merchant in a crafting house, they give u 3s per girdle and like, 4.5s per leggings. I think i make about 13s in about half hour just looting the rats and sellling the loot!
